Shaping the sustainability agenda

Today the world is asking for a change and for solutions with regards to sustainability issues. The climate change, quality of life, running out of raw materials, pollution, politic differences are some examples. All these issues contains not only an environmental part, but also the social and economic part. This means that we need to develop a world in which the environmental, social and economic aspects walk together.

Our purpose

As case packer manufacturer, are we at the beginning of the life circle of automation, the knowledge at our disposal, CPS has a unique opportunity right now to influence and shape the sustainability agenda. But of course we cannot do it alone. We encourage our people to get involved in sustainability on a personal level through their professional and personal networks; while on an organizational level we work a hugely diverse range of like-minded people - from the United Nations, to governments, NGOs, academia and other private companies.

Key ratings and benchmarks

To be a leader in sustainability we have to understand and embrace the growing complexity of the world. Most significantly, we have to be long-term thinkers who see people and the environment to be integral parts of the business. Guided by strong values, to undertake bold steps that prioritize the organization’s impact. CPS is heading to prepare the organization for the future accounting the following direction.

  • Strong focus on circularity to extract maximum value for materials and products. Transform “take, make and dispose” to “Rethink, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle”.
  • Reducing emissions and increasing energy efficiency. Scope 1 Direct sources; Scope2 Indirect sources; Scope 3 upstream/downstream source.
  • Building an innovative ecosystem according ISO20400.
  • Obtaining Ecovadis Bronze.
  • Giving employees plenty of room to use their talents. Let them be curious.
  • Continuing to build a chain that puts all these principles into practice.

To safeguard these goals, we work together with:
